Simple Comforts by Kim Diehl
OH IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!!!
Just when you think you are getting a little head way with projects....a new book comes out! This one I found is by Kim Diehl called "Simple Comforts"! Oh it has 12 lap quilts and I swear I want to make each one...I took some pics of the quilts...they are ALL adorable!! I really want to make each one! Now what do I do???
I have sooooo many unfinished projects like my Missouri Daisies, blocks from Primitive Garden, blocks from When a Cold Wind Blows and then there are THE civil war projects that I haven't even gotten started on, oh I bought all the fabric, but it is still waiting to be cut!!
What to do, What to do....
Don't you just love these quilts by Kim Diehl, I think there is something for everyone, now I just have to use some self-discipline here and get back to the project on hand.... (but I can dream)
Happy Eye Candy!
Many Hugs,
Mary

Also, asked everyone (anyone) if they would not mind voting for Cooper for thecutestdogcompetion.com - it is on my sidebar of blog just click on it if you think he is the cutest,
Thanks everyone and sorry my last blog looked foreign! LOL

MISSOURI STARS...REMEMBER THOSE????!!??!
MONDAY I DECIDED TO CLEAN MY SEWING ROOM, WELL, ACTUALLY SATURDAY I STARTED AND FINISHED LAST NIGHT. AMOUNG THE MANY UNFINISHED PROJECTS, THERE SAT MY MISSOURI STARS. SO I DUSTED THEM OFF AND COLLECTED ALL THE VARIOUS FABRICS I BOUGHT FOR THEM A YEAR AGO. I AM GOING TO TRY TO MAKE A THROW QUILT WITH MAYBE 9 OR 12 BLOCKS WITH SASHING AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR A VERY SPECIAL YOUNG LADY. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SIDETRACKED ME (I THINK THOSE TWO BABY QUILTS) BUT I JUST LOVE HANDPIECING THIS BLOCK TOGETHER.
ALSO, I REALLY CHERISH ALL OF YOU IN BLOGLAND SO CAN I ASK A FAVOR? CAN YOU LOOK ON MY SIDEBAR AND PLEASE VOTE FOR "COOPER" AS THE CUTEST DOG...I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
HUGS AND LOVE TO ALL OF YOU,
MARY
