DELLA from the "QUILTING ASYLUM" HAS NOMINATED ME FOR THE SISTERHOOD AWARD!!! THANK YOU DELLA, YOU ARE TRULY A SWEETHEART.
This award is a blogger's recognition of great attitude and/or gratitude. Now it is my turn to pass along this coveted award to friends I have made during the past year that I have been blogging. I have met so many of you and you have always been so kind and friendly that I really think if we all lived near each other, we could just pull up a chair and chat and sew, like we have known each other for years...I am truly grateful for the friendships I have made. Thank you to so many of you, that is really hard to pick just 5, so within the guidelines of this award I now would like to pass this award along to those who:
*have talents that leave me in awe
*educate me and enhance my talents
*touch my heart and emotions
*remind me of home
*and those who quilt with me

Hi Everyone, have been very busy this past week, my husband's niece Mandy had her baby - a Boy, 8 lbs 5 ounces, named Noah. So just put the binding on last night, when we got the phone call that she had the baby, good timing huh???
The back of the quilt was little polka dots in yellow (hope you can see from picture). Hubby was holding quilt so that is his head poking over the top of quilt. Then he made me hold it while he took a picture. (I look horrible as I have been so tired lately?!?!?!) Think it's the weather around here, yucky!!
Anyway, The Quilt was delivered today just in time for her little one to be wrapped up in it!
Now, I have begin appliquing "When the Cold Winds Blow", class is on Fri, so should have first block basted! So...crunch time.
Oh, Fig Tree quilts is having a give-away, check out Fig Tree Quilts Blog for details!!! It's a good one! The pattern I used for the baby quilt, was by Fig Tree Quilts.
Well, have a great week everyone and will check in later with more pictures of When the Cold Winds Blow blocks...
