Inspiration:
"Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird's delicate Grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that Laughter is life's sweetest creation..." Isn't that Beautiful! I don't know who wrote that, but it really makes me think how precious all of our lives are.
So what have I been up to...besides laundry, housework and family... well, "Cooper" got a haircut and bath, so had to take a little picture of him all nice and clean.
Chicago Blackhawks are back in town and we have Tickets, Yeah!! Went Sat night with Kate and Chris (daughter and her boyfriend), it was like a double date, really enjoyed being with those two young adults. Here is one with Chris in all of his Blackhawk Gear - Go Hawks!
And then Kate turned the camera on us, so here is one of Dave and I... Dave is all in his gear too! Oh how these boys like to dress up for the games, of course the gals do too!!
Emily's tennis practices and matches have all ended - we placed 3rd!! Here are some more of Em, but they are through a fence so I hope you can see her in action. I know through the fence you really can't get good pictures but unfortunately they won't let parents out on the court when they are in play...why? i guess they know it would be moms like me that would be out there taking pictures - so it is a good rule, i guess!?!?!!?
Have been missing these two alot, alot, alot, both at college.... Miss Mike's sense of humor and I just miss everything about Angie! Mike is well know for his singing ability in the car(not) and his famous bust-out dance moves while I am driving, that is what I miss so much!!!
Well better get back to cleaning the kitchen...
Oh and what have I been working on....Missouri Daisy blocks, yes I am still at them. I should have about 75 blocks done by now - have only about 11. Slow progression,
Love looking at all your quilting blogs though, they get me really motivated!
Love and Hugs to all,
Mary
